Known for descriptive lyrics that bring songs to life in a cinematic way, MIM finds himself at the forefront of modernizing pop-rock.<\/p>\n After building an industry pedigree including touring stints with Warped Tour \u201918 alongside names such as Hawthorne Heights, Underoath, and August Burns Red, along with headlining shows at Hollywood\u2019s Whiskey A-Go-Go and performing at Launch Music Conference, MIM found himself at a crossroads. \u201c\u2018Deterior Design\u2019 is a song I\u2019ve had in my pocket for a while,\u201d<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0explains the vocalist.\u00a0\u201cI wrote it after I fired my label, manager, and bandmates all within a couple months. I didn\u2019t have anyone telling me what it should be.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Musically,\u00a0\u201cDeterior Design\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0is a blend of trap pop, crunching guitars, and soaring vocal hooks. \u201cI got to write a pop song with my heavier influence. Something purely mine,\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>says MIM.\u00a0\u201cI wrote this song about how good it felt to drop the dead weight and how liberating it is.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n orning In May\u2019s works include a music video for\u00a0\u201cEverybody\u2019s Innocent Here, Don\u2019t You Know That?,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0the leading single off of the band\u2019s 6-track EP,\u00a0Somewhere In Slumber<\/em><\/strong>. The song\u2019s title refers to the movie, The Shawshank Redemption. As a fan, MIM shot their video at The Ohio State Reformatory, where the film had been made.<\/p>\n MIM has worked alongside Escape The Fate\u2019s frontman Craig Mabbitt in single release\u00a0\u201cOrpheus in Retrospect\u201d<\/strong>, released in October of 2020. MIM has painted relationships with Spirit Airlines and Dynamic Talent and has been previously signed to Manic Kat Records and Needful Things\/Tragic Hero Records.
