Radiate Connect Deeply on Alternative Single “Cure Me”

Alternative band Radiate dive into the euphoric feeling of newfound love with their latest single “Cure Me.” The song is about the feeling you get when you meet someone new and you realize they are not only the one, but they are the best one you’ve ever connected with completely.

The inherent human connection you make with someone you have feelings for,” says the band. “Those feelings feel like salvation or a cure. Which is where the line ‘“you really cure me’ comes from in the chorus.

The hook for “Cure Me” was co-written with YouTube sensation Teddy Swims and the song was mixed/mastered by Kris Crummett (Sleeping with Sirens, Issues, Dance Gavin Dance). It balances dreamy, technical instrumentation with American Idol quality vocals and just the right amount of grit.

The early stages of love take focus in the music video with performance shots of the band in front of a beautiful technicolor backdrop. Vocalist Daniel Louis is also one of the few people on the planet that can make overalls look cool.

Radiate formed in New York City in November 2017 with Daniel Louis (singer), Vlad Tipicidi (guitarist), Will Ford (drummer), Michael Feliciano (bassist). So far the band has released 3 singles, an EP as well as six music videos. Their EP “Human” (released in January 2020) was produced, recorded, mixed/mastered by Kris Crummett. In 2019 Radiate entered a partnership with Dynamic Talent International (formerly known as Artery Global Agency). In the 3 years prior to the pandemic, the band embarked on multiple tours, were openers for touring bands coming through New York City and played five headline shows in their hometown at venues like Gramercy Theater and The Knitting Factory. This time band prepares to release their debut album “Detach” and hit the road again.
