In Dying Arms are entering a new era with riff-raging new single “Dark Days”
In Dying Arms have returned with their new metalcore single ‘Dark Days’ lurching straight into ascending charge – with an assault of guitar chugs, a punk-driven rhythm and bass to boot – before the centrepiece chorus emerges and immediately injects itself into the listener’s memory. The band pull no punches either with the riffs and growls climaxing in an animalistic breakdown that would happily send any unsuspecting crowd into a frenzy.
It’s a soundtrack purpose-built for the mosh pits in style but reinforced by more than enough substance to pluck the heartstrings in emotional resonance.
“I was inspired to write the lyrics to this song based around a story our guitarist Noah told us about his good friend who was murdered at gunpoint. Going down the wrong path and all of that. I could relate wholeheartedly and wanted to add some aspects of my own in there for a song. The track is from the perspective of someone who is grieving and feels they could’ve done more to prevent the outcome.”
‘Dark Days’ is the first official music video from the band since their break-up in 2017. In the accompanying video we see the band unleash fury in a performance of this stellar single. As well as welcoming back guitarist Christian Becker, who played with the band from 2014-2017
