Allen’s Hand Ignite with New Video/Single “Poutsatron”

Emerging four-piece, rock group Allen’s Hand has released their hard-hitting new single/video “Poutsatron.” Creating a narrative focused on the darker version of your inner self similar to Mr. Hyde or the Hulk, the track and video are a meditation on self-control and trying to find your inner peace when you’re feeling on the verge of exploding. “Poutsatron” also marks the group’s conclusion to their four-part video series, which included singles “Figurine,” “Thermochemistry,” and “Piña Colada.”

The video follows the story of a gas station robbery gone awry before the masked robbers carjack Larry, the band’s drummer, and his young son, who is seen sleeping in the passenger seat, and take them hostage in their attempt to escape. While the thieves laugh and mock the chicken man, he pleads with them to let him and his son go and to let him give his son an unidentified medication that is located in the trunk of the car.

As the situation continues to escalate and the thieves’ mockery of the man persists, it’s not long before the rage inside of him boils and he begins to fight back. After removing his son from the vehicle, now filled with the kidnappers’ blood, the chicken man lays an explosive egg that ignites the car in flames.

Just as you think that the man and his son are safe, the video concludes on a cliffhanger and an eerie phone call threatening, “I got your son. If you ever want to see him alive again, you’ll do as I say.”

“The song is a simple story about the Hulk / Mr. Hyde version of ourselves we all have deep within us, ready to explode when we’re caught up in an impossible situation,” the band explains of the track. “The video concludes a four-part concept where each video follows an individual chicken/band member of the band. In ‘Poutsatron,’ our drummer Larry is faced with protecting his small child against a band of thieves who take his vehicle and them hostage, after a gas station robbery. But things aren’t as they seem…”

The video for “Poutsatron” was directed by Anastasia Pyrovolaki. The track was written by Eggstein and Hennis.
