Rochester’s Into the Harbor release punishing “Acquiescence”

Rochester deathcore heavyweights Into The Harbor have just dropped their latest single, “Acquiescence.” The track is a full-frontal assault on the listener with bone-crunching riffs, brutal double kicks and guttural vocals.

The song is about how too often in our society, you find a person whose feelings contradict their actions,” says vocalist Todd Radtke. “They feel like something is wrong, but they simply do nothing and move on and let the malfeasances continue. Basically just accepting life for how it is, even though they don’t agree with it.

“Acquiescence” was recorded by Ryan Wirth at RW Audio. It is the first single from the band in 2021 and is accompanied by a lyric video, created by Poseidon Media. The video is premiering through SLAM WORLDWIDE on YouTube.

‘Acquiescence’ has managed to capture the sound that we have been working for nearly a decade to produce,” says Radtke. “This is the best music we’ve ever released. We have anxiously been waiting to show ITH fans our latest work, and we really hope everyone enjoys this as much as we do.

Into the Harbor is a deathcore band from Rochester, NY, USA. The band was formed in late 2012 by brothers Todd and Kyle Radtke. Since their inception, the band has released one LP (Mapmaker, 2016), 2 EPs (Into the Harbor, 2012 & IV, 2019) and a single (“F.A.F.”, 2017). The band has played nearly 100 shows all over the northeastern United States and have shared the stage with the likes of Asking Alexandria, Whitechapel, Motionless in White and many other critically-acclaimed artists.
